Having traveled for quite an abundant amount of time, Katie eventually grew tired of walking, reading the instruction manual on her way to her next destination---Springlake Town. Ludel, her newest and first Pokemon, was yet to be released from her pokeball.
"This is tiring," Thought Sivone to herself, scowling. Her stomach added on that very instant with a low growl. "Oh, I knew I should have eaten. Good thing that odd Proffessor packed some food in this thing. Maybe this is a good time to rest and show-off my Pokemon."
And with that, after having retreated within the forest to her left that completely hid the sky and found herself sitting next to a small stream on a rock, Katie opened up the pack to pull out one apple, and a small container of pokemon food.
She then placed the precious item's down next to her before reaching down, gently plucking the pokeball off from her purple belt. The tip of her bare finger placed itself upon the small button that released her pokemon, and out came a small, blue blob of white-cotton goodness. Ludel the Swablu.
"Swa!" It crooned contently.Katie was rather pleased and smiled down on the pokemon. "Well, hi there! Is it alright if I call you Ludel? Because you look like a Ludel to me, if that's alright with you..." Naming a Pokemon wasn't exactly easy for Katie.
"Blu? Swa, Swablu!" Again Ludel cried happily, a sign that she indeed enjoyed her own name. "That's great! Hrm...I wonder if you can evolve...? Then you could become strong and even more pretty, Ludel! Wouldn't you like that?"
"Swa!" {Oh, yes!}
And that instant, both of them became very close friend's that would forever be by eachother's side with compassion from the Heart.
((So, I suppose I wait for a Mod to appear with a wild Pokemon...X3))

((^^))
A Poochyena came though a pair a trees. It growled at the pair. <This,> It said, talking slowly and feircely, <Is my territory. What are you-> It glared from Ludel, to Katie, <Doing here? A human and her pet, how lovely. Come for dinner, have you?> The Poochyena licked it's lips, then growled slightly. <Mmm, my pack grows hungry.> It added.

{Huh?} Ludel squeeked.
Katie, having noticed the small, wolf-hyena hybrid pokemon, tilted her head to the side, attempting to understand what this pokemon had to say. She's never seen a Poochyena before, making it difficult for her to realize what agressive beasts' they were when it came to their territory. "Hey! Look at that! What is that?"
"Swa! Swablu!" {Er! It doesn't look very happy!} The Swablu crooned nervously.
"Poochyena, the Bite Pokemon. It has a very tenacius nature. Its acute sense of smell lets it chase a chosen prey without ever loosing track." The Pokedex chimmed after Katie pointed at Poochyena. Looking confused yet somewhat nervous, she placed the Pokedex away and blinked.
"Oh, dear...I guess we battle."
"Swab!"

The Poochyena growled once more at the Swablu, narrowing it's eyes into a fierce glare. It sniffed, and began to charge towards the Swablu, with a powerful and quick tackle attack and growled. <<Looks like it's bird for dinner tonight.>> It said, licking it's lips mid-tackle. <<I think you will regret entering my territory!>>

"Ah! Ludel, you're a bird Pokemon! Peck!"
"Blu!?!" Cried Ludel frantically, rather shocked to be attacked for the very first time in her life. But she suddenly regained control of herself after having been tackled by the small Poochyena.
"Are you alright?" Katie asked, unsure.
But Ludel crooned, fluttering up above the ground. Although scratched slightly, the cloudly-blob known as a Swablu cried out its name, and swiftly began to peck at the small wolf-hyena hybrid Pokemon.

The Poochyena shot backwards from the peck attack, but the devil of a thing had quite an ego, and wouldn't show the intense pain the peck from the bird pokemon. It shot forwards with another tackle with an angry growl. <<You'll pay for that cloudy poo>> Was the translation that could be reached by one who could understand such things.

"Give it another peck, Ludel!" Katie ordered, having raised a clenched fist high into the air. Her adored cloud Pokemon crooned and managed, after having been tackled again, to shake off the pain and once more peck at Poochyena. "Swa! Swa! Swa!" Ludel would screech after each rabid peck, not at all pleased with her opponent's last remark. {How dair you, you dirty fur-ball!}

The poochyena this time couldn't handle the pain, not without showing it. It moaned and growled at the bird pokemon. It tried another tackle, though it was weaker this time, because even though Poochyena's are very spirited this one was simplely too exhausted to do anything more.

Surprised, Katie's face then twisted into alookof convidence."It looks weakened," She thought, smirking. "This whole trainer thing isn't so hard!"
"Swablu! Swaaa!"{Haha! Aint so tough now, are you chew toy?" Chirped Ludel as she hovered over Poochyena, waiting for her next order.
"Peck!"
"Blu!" {Hah!} And there Ludel began pecking once more, hoping to soon finish her enemy in just a matter of second's.

And exactly that happened. The once prideful and powerful looking poochyena turned out to be a mere level two, and fainted. Two more poochyenas lept from the trees and seeing their fainted leader, grabbed him and dragged him away. It was quiet once again, and not a wild pokemon in sight, though there were a few Pidgey's cries in the distance.

"Swablu!" {I did it!} Ludel cried with joy, fluttering over to her loved trainer, falling into her human arms'.
"Great job, Ludel." Her trainer stated, hugging her Pokemon tightly. Ludel crooned and was quite pleased with both her victory and the love she recieved from Katie, who was glad her Pokemon did alright.
"Now, time to eat. Hungry?"
"Blu. Blu, Swablu." {Oh, yes, I really am. Thank you}

A web lowered slowly into the food, pulling out some of the poke'food from their meal. The web dragged the food upwards and munching could be heard from above. It was a Spinarak, and it looked curiously at the two being's whose meal it had disturbed. <<Hello there>> the spinarak called to the two. <<Lovely day for a meal isn't it?>>
((Gtg, see you later))

"Huh?" Having heard this peculiar sound, Katie looked up only to find the culprate(sp?) with their food. Gasping, the accidentally dropped ludel, who landed unharmed on the cold, soft ground. "Blu..." {Ow...}
"Ah! That Pokemon is stealing our food!" Katie couldn't help but shriek. She hadn't ment to over react, but her stomach seemed to be the brain for the moment.
"Swa? Blu! Swablu!" {Huh? Oh, no! Our food! Oh...that's not very nice! That was our food!} Chirped Ludel frantically. Sighing, Katie knew that Ludel may be a bit tired from her last battle. But letting that Spinarak get away with little of their food, she couldn't do.
"Ludel, if you're too tired, you don't have to fight." Katie warned, but her Pokemon was ready. She fluttered up to the Spinarak, now upset. "Swaaaa..." {Our food....}

The Spinarak looked from Katie to Ludel, a bewildered look on it's face. <Uh?> It said, utturly confused. For some reason, it had the impression that the food had been offered to it or something. <Steal? I'm stealing? I'm not... am I?> It asked. It looked down at the food.

"Is she talking to it?" Katie couldn't help but ponder outloud, tilting her head to the side. "Huh..."
{That was our food! You can't just take food when a human is around it, you know.} Ludel crooned. {That's stealing. Well, if the food isn't yours.}
"It didn't take too much...I suppose we won't bother with it. Come on down, Ludel. It doesn't appear to be harmful."
{But...} Softly chirping, Ludel fluttered down to her Trainer, now a blue-blop on Katie's shoulder. Katie looked up at the Spinarak, forgiving it for its intrution. But it then occured to her that Ariados, the evolved form of Spinarak, had been one of her favorite Pokemon; one Pokemon she's painted before.
"It doesn't want to fight, but I want to catch it. Maybe that's what trainer's do...that doesn't seem right," She thought. "Ohh..."
((Is it possible to catch a Pokemon without weakening the Pokemon, like in the Anime? (Ex., James got Mr. Mime Jr because the Pokemon willingly allowed itself to be caught). I didn't see a rule about this...yes, I know one rule says you cannot catch a pokemon without weakening it, or if it's fainted, but nothing said anything about gaining a pokemon who willingly allowed itself to be yours.))

((You can attempt to 'befriend' it, yes.))
The Spinarak looked around cautiously for a moment, then ate the small bit of food that it had in it's clutches. <I apologise if I caused trouble... I didn't know.> It said finally, tilting it's head to one side. It had eaten to food that it already had.
It lowered itself to the ground, and sat on a nearby rock. <Hmm.> It murmurred softly. <I wonder...>

((Ah, thank you for clearing that. Very confusing. )) "What a cute little guy." Katie finally said, rubbing the back of her head as she smirked. She just couldn't help but admire the bug Pokemon. It had its own unique charm that not alot of people could see. Bug Pokemon weren't adored as much as the mammilian(sp) or reptillian(also sp) pokemon. "Swablu." {She seem's to be happy, I guess it's fine.} Little Ludel crooned as Katie sat down on her rock, where the remaining food sat lifelessly. Sivone thought for a moment before looking back at the Spinarak. She then opened her mouth to speak. "Are you still hungry?" Sivone questioned the Bug Pokemon.

<Ah, good.> The Spinarak said. It looked to Katie, then nodded in response to the question. <A little bit.> It admitted. <I haven't eaten in a while. Hard to find food while trying not to become food.> It eyed Ludel nervously, then did a little spider shrug and looked at the sky for a moment. It then looked back at Katie. <Hmm.> It said again.

{I wasn't going to eat you!} Ludel snapped back, to Katie; a shrill chirp. Katie slightly flinched but then shrugged it off before grabbing a small jar of Pokefood, sealed tightly and fresh. She then opened the platic jar only to take three pieces of brown, lumpy food that Pokemon so much seemed to enjoy. An offer to Spinarak.
"Here," Katie said. "It's alright. I won't hurt you. You were just a hungry little guy, no harm intended. I can't necessarly say it's good--never had it. Heh..."

The Spinarak flinched also. <Ai, I wasn't taking about you, miss> It said. <I'm talking about the notorious bird pokemon that I share my home with. Though I am wary of all bird pokemon.> It admitted, greatfully taking the Pokefood. <Can't blame me, can you?> It asked, though it wasn't much of a question, and it wasn't necessarily expecting an answer. It took a bite of the food. <Thanks, lassy.> It said to Katie.
