Moze walked into Springlake Town. She releasede Kiss. "Hey Kiss, I have a proposition for you. According to my pokedex, you learn Sweet Kiss at level 9. You are currently level 8. So... how about we train until you gain that level, then I'll heal you at the pokemon center for five bucks, then we take off to Route Two. Sound Good?" She asked, looking down at the pink Smoochum.
Kiss thought for a moment. <Hm... more training. Well, I guess it would ber okay...> She said thoughtfully, then was suddenly enthusiastic about training. <Yes! Yes! Yes! Lets do it! I'll be stronger! Sweeeet Kisss, here I come!> She shouted, nodding vigorously.
Moze raised an eyebrow, then shrugged, looking around. "Let's see..." She mumbled under her breath, walking around. She found a slim tree. "First off. Climb this tree." She ordered. Kiss looked up at the tree like one would look at a tall, muscular, scary man with a strange accent. A look that seemed to say, 'Will it kill me?' Moze smirked, then watched carefully. Kiss attempted to wrapped her stubby arms around the tree and climb that way, but she failed at it. She tried this a few times before deciding she couldnt' do it that way. She looked the tree up and down a few times, then ran backwards a few feet, and looked at it again. She walked back to the tree, then use Pound on it. A dent was now in the tree. She use Pound again, a little higher up than last time. She used these two dents and footholds. She used Pound more, then used that as a handhold, and so the process kept going. Finally, she reached the top. "Great, Kiss! Now come back down, okay?" Moze said, smiling. The going down was much easier. In no time, Kiss was reunited with the earth.
"Okay, let's make this harder." Moze said, going to another, taller, tree, picking up a bunch of rocks along the way. She put the pile of rocks at the foot of the new tree. "Climb up this tree, taking rocks up there. You don't have to take them all at once." She added, seeing Kiss's wide-eyed, bewildered look as she looked down at the pile of rocks. Kiss sighed, a bit tired already,b ut did as she was told. She climbed up the same way as last time, except this time the going was slower, since she was carrying rocks. Occasionally, she dropped a rock, and had to come down to try again. Once all the rocks were at the top, Moze cheered as Kiss stood triumphantly at the top. "Great! Super!" Moze shouted to Kiss, looking up.
Moze then ran a few yards away. "Now throw the rocks at me! You have to get at least ten of the rocks to me or past me, or else you have to do it all over again!" She shouted to Kiss. Kiss nodded, determined. The first few rocks she threw fell just short of Moze. Then she used Pound on the rocks to give them more momentum. This worked on about six rocks, which flew past Moze, until Kiss grew tired. "Only four more!" Moze encouraged. Kiss nodded, panting slightly. She thought for a moment, but couldn't think of a better plan. She merely used a stronger Pound, and got three more to Moze. "One more!" Moze encouraged again. "You can do it!" Kiss nodded, now exhausted. She picked up one of the last rocks, and threw it, but it didn't make it past Moze. It barely made it a few inches away from the tree. "Come on, you can do it!" Moze said again. Kiss finally made one rock to Moze, but barely. "Great job! You did it!" Moze ran to Kiss, who jumped down into Moze's arms.
