New members! Please don't be put off by this. You don’t have to memorize all of it, and most of the time Aquazayr is fairly simple. These rules are mostly just for when someone has a disagreement, so we have something to go off of.
It is important though that you read the Levels post, the first part of the Moves, and get the gist of Evolution. You won’t get in trouble for forgetting something.
This post is rather long, so remember, you can always use CTRL+F to find what you are looking for.
Levels
Levels can be gained by fighting other trainers, wild pokemon, in trainer houses or by training with things such as sticks and stones.
Example One. Talia bent down and searched the ground for a medium sized stick. Her Zigzagoon was staring at her, its head tilted to one side, wondering what she was going to do. Once Talia found one, she instructed Zigzagoon to try and catch the stick before it hit the ground, while she threw it in his direction.
You would then go into detail of the training, how Zigzagoon progressed in the training, etc.
Example Two. Jason entered the trainer house. Various cushons, rods, flags and toys that could be used for training filled the room. Jason took a pillow and put it against his stomach, while Rattata tried to Tackle his trainer down.
Trainer houses will be placed randomly around the Aquazayr Region.
Moderators will hand out levels after the above occur, or after trainer or wild pokemon battles, but not always. If you catch a pokemon, you will still gain experience.
Pokemon Moves
Moves will be gained by levels, just as they would be in the game. Pokemon can learn FIVE moves. If they learn a sixth, you may delete another move to make space for it if you wish.
Aquazayr goes by the Serebii.net Pokedex, and by the Ruby/Sapphire movesets.
There will also be move tutors in various towns, who may teach your pokemon certain moves if you do something for them, or for a cost.
Bred pokemon may also learn some extra moves. This will be up to the Moderatorss to decide.

Pokemon Evolution
Pokemon will evolve at the levels they do in the game. However, if you want to cancel the evolution for whatever reason, when it comes to 'So-and-so is evolving!' Just startle the pokemon in the roleplay.
If nothing startles them and they aren't holding an everstone they will evolve. This includes if you aren't actually with your pokemon ((eg. they are lost in the woods or at a daycare center)).
Pokemon that evolve via trade will evolve as they do in the game.
Pokemon that evolve with stones ((moon stone, fire stone, etc.)) will evolve as normal. Evolution stones will be found in random places around the region.
Pokemon that evolve with an item will require by just giving the pokemon the item.
Zubat, Chansey, Eevee, Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff and Azurill will be attached with a happiness bar in their Trainer Memo. When their happiness reaches 100% they will evolve ((except with Zubat of course, it must have evolved into a Golbat and have 100% Happiness)) Only Global Moderators and Administrators can add to the happiness.
Feebas will evolve at lv25.
Wurmple will evolve at lv7 into Silcoon or Cascoon at random, chosen by the moderator. It is not affected by day/night.
Tyrogue evolves by stats in the games, so instead it will evolve based on attacks it knows. It will evolve at lv20 regardless (though you can cancel it out)
- If most of Tyrogue's attacks do damage, it will evolve into Hitmonlee. ((eg. Tackle, Water Gun, Zap Cannon))
- If most of Tyrogue's attacks do NOT do damage directly, it will evolve into Hitmonchan. ((eg. Sand Attack, Hypnosis, Toxic))
- If Tyrogue knows the same amount of attacks that do/do not do damage, it will evolve into Hitmontop.
- If Tyrogue only knows Tackle it will evolve at random.
Items[/u]
Held items are not a part of Aquazayr, at least not currently. Berries are only in place for roleplaying purposes ((quests, or if a wild pokemon is upset because they lost them, etc.)) They shouldn’t be put in the inventory.
If/When Aquazayr gets contests, berries will probably be put into effect, at least Pokeblocks will.
TMs and HMs can be obtained. Your pokemon can only learn the TM/HM if Serebii.net Pokedex says so. All TM/HMs are taken straight from the GBA games, so if they can learn it it'll be there.
You keep track of your pokedex in your profile if you want, but that part should all be on no more than one post.
Aquazayr has a few unique items. This list may be incomplete.
Item: Random Pack
Description: The Random Pack for Aquazayr is the same to trainers and a candy grab-bag is to us. Filled with useful stuff. ((Well candy isn't all that useful, but you know what I mean.)) There is also a Beginner Random Pack which has simpler stuff.
