Alone in the dark, I feel at home...

Lune wandered around the dark mansion, Ju's bright fire lighting his way, the Sableye's crystal eyes glistening a menacing red and orange. "This better be good." Lune muttered, "I payed $100 for this..."

A deep, eerie laugh filled the mansion. "So, they're having you pay to see us? That ridiculous..." It said. The voice seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time. "They don't have any idea who they're messing with, those simple minded humans." It seemed to get more angry as it kept talking. "We are not some form of entertainment fo ryou fools!"

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

Lune narrowed his eyes, looking around, "Well why don't you show yourself, so we know exactly who we're messing with." He called out. The small Cyndaquil on the ground let out a nervous "Quil!" And ran over to her owner, causing light to bounce off the walls and create eerie shadows...

The voice laughed. "It is not me, it is we." He said, speaking louder. It also sounded like more than one person/pokemon/thing was speaking, now, though they were all saying the same thing at the same time. "And we have no reason to reveal ourself to you. All apoligies though, for what seems like insulting you. I do realize that some of you have your sense... though it was probably not wise for you to come in, you didn't know. Most don't know, in fact." The mighty voce paused. "There are some... who know. Us and our sister are not to be meddled with. We are not here to harm, though." It, or they, seemed to be telling the truth, but you never know. "Of course, we have our tempers. At least, I do. Our sisters is more... calm."

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

Lune's ears pricked up, as he looked around him, even with his half-decent night vision, he could barely see passed his Cyndaquil's flame. "So what are all of you then? If not human?" He asked the darkness...

"That, my friend," The voice said, sounding slightly amused, "Is too hard to comprehend, even for us. My sisters, though, refer to themselves as a type of pokemon- but I shall not explain further. My servents approach."

Right at that moment, a few men came into the Haunted House, walked past Lune, and then stopped. "What progress have you made?" The voice asked. "It is almost finished." One of the men said. The men were all dressed in black robes. They all bowed slightly. "Good, good." The voice said. The men bowed again, then left without another word.

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

"Progress...?" Lune watched the men leave, "What's happening?" He asked the voices. "If you don't mind me asking..."

"Ah, I cannot tell you much, but I'll tell you this- those men have sense. Almost too much, if I may say. They're are building a Shrine, where I can focus my powers." It said.

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

"A shrine?" He muttered, then suddenly remembered the necklace that he had been handed earlier. He took it from around his neck and held it up. "What can you tell me about this?" He asked, "It was found in this mansion."

"Ah, that. I take it Diamond is at her Giveaway stand, again." It seemed happy and amused. "Well, it was made by the owner of this house. He was a blacksmith, and he usually didn't make items like this. It was passed down from generation to generation, and is rumored to have taken on some magical properties. In reality, that necklace was actually made to contain the spirit of the man's lost friend- his beloved Espeon."

The necklace gave Luna a tingling sensation, as if in reply.

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

Lune lowered the necklace and examined it again. He smiled gently as he turned it over and over in his hand. "You say 'made to contain'." He said, "Did he succeed in containing the spirit?"

The necklace gave Lune a tingling sensation again. "Yes." The voice said simply. It sounded like a person attempting to be patient; it might be getting tired of company.

[+Kopa+ ~Lune~]

Lune smiled down at the Necklace, he then looked up, into the darkness. "I shall leave you now." He told the voice. "Good luck with whatever you're planning." He then turned to leave...

The voice said nothing, but the presence of whatever had spoken seemed to vanish.
